10 geocaches we have found in London
- GC5WHH3 ▼ Church Micro 8006…Lambeth – St Mary
This is a cache that lets you discover Lambeth Place and its surroundings and from where you have a great view of the Houses of Parliament.
GC4ZMV4 ▼ Tower Bridge TB HOTEL
A quiet spot close to the Thames with a view of the Towerbridge. The surroundings of this bridge are worth a visit. Many old warehouses have been converted into homes and shops / restaurants. The Tower and the bridge itself can be visited. We did that a few years ago. We thought it was worth it.
- GC3Y5QQ ▼Look At My Guns
On the Thamespath between Woolwich and Greenwich. You can see the airplanes of London City airport landing and take off. From this cache we walked to the Thames Barrier. This special structure has to protect the city against too high a water level.
- GC37ZGR ▼Mutiny on the Bounty
You can find this cache near the Imperial War Museum with a nice garden.
- GC7D09F ▼Great Newport Street
Leicester square and Coventgarden should not be missed when visiting London. It is very busy and the owner did a good job hiding the cache here.
- GC5A7DW ▼Trafalgar Square
This imposing square is one to remember. Very busy and a brilliant cache!
- GC7C4CX ▼Rembrandt Park
A park where you can enjoy Little Venice from a bench. Take a relaxing walk along the Regents Canal.
- GC6F12 ▼ London – Beatles Abbey Road
Who does not know the Beatles song about Abbey Road? We have already been able to log these on a previous trip but this is one to remember.
- GC533QZ ▼REALLY SideTracked – Royal Oak
To the north of Kensington Palace and associated gardens, this cache is cleverly hidden. We got help from a nice construction worker. It is in the neighborhood of Bayswater and is worth a visit. There are shopping and dining options too.
- GC6JWW4 ▼Here we go ’round the mulberry bush
Crystal Palace, probably most known as a football club, is nowadays a gigantic park where the contours of the once beautiful Palace are still visible.
